The FVAGA started with angling guides from the Fraser valley portion of the Fraser river, but is extending its membership to the entire Fraser river watershed. It is important for angling guides to have an association that provides a quick and efficient response to all Provincial and Federal initiatives that affect angling for not only angling guides, but all resident British Columbian anglers. It goes without saying, that before becoming an angling guide, we are all BC resident anglers. An association provides government with one collective voice, a collaboration of all ideas, to advise government of the effects of regulatory and policy change, and to provide accurate information on all events within the realm of angling on the Fraser river.
